POWELL, Wyo. (AP) - Both Liz Cheney and Sen. Mike Enzi are scheduled to take part in a tea party event in rural Big Horn County this weekend.

Gov. Mead: Test Results a 'Cause for Concern'

The Wyoming Department of Education has released the test results for the state's student assessment showing and overall drop in scores during the 2012-2013 school year, compared to last year.

Sheridan Probation Officer Charged with Felony Count of Sexual Assault

Sheridan Probation and Parole Officer, Chris Yager, was charged this month with a felony count of sexual assault against a former client. Yager will appear before Circuit Court Judge Shelley Cundiff on Tuesday to answer to the charge.

UPDATE 3:49 P.M. Public Information Officer for the Wyoming Department of Corrections, Mark Horan, says Yager was placed on leave in May, as per rules for state personnel. His case is currently under review.

A probation officer with the Sheridan Probation and Parole Office and the Wyoming Department of Corrections, was charged this month with a count of sexual assault. Sheridan Media's Chris Foy has the story.

Wednesday afternoon the Johnson County Wellness Group had their quarterly meeting, this time focusing on the Obesity Epidemic in this country and the problem with underage drinking in the State of Wyoming.

Bowling Tournament To Benefit Food Pantry

A family-friendly event happening Friday and Saturday at the Buffalo Bowl will benefit the Bread Of Life Food Pantry.

Both nights beginning at 6pm the Buffalo Bowl will host a Bowling Tournament with all proceeds going to the Food Pantry.

The Johnson County Commissioners heard the quarterly report from VOA, Volunteers Of America, on their Youth Diversion/Probation Program they run for the county.
