Over the past year the City of Sheridan has been garnering public input on what type of of enhancements residents would like to see to the North Main Interchange Project.

During Wednesday's Sheridan Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees meeting, Hospital Foundation Director Ada Kirven gave a report that indicated a banner year for the Hospital Foundation regarding gifts received between July 1, 2012, and June 30, 2013.

Liz Cheney, Husband Late Paying Tax on $1.6M Home

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - County records show U.S. Senate candidate Liz Cheney and her husband were late paying their first property taxes on the $1.6 million home they bought last year in Jackson Hole. They owed almost $4,500 in taxes on the four-bedroom, four-bath log home for the first half of 2012.

The Sheridan County Sheriff's Office was notified at 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday that four tanks full of a black substance, some possibly leaking, were abandoned on BNSF property near a drainage ditch at 2701 North Main.

Joe LaForge figures he was born because his grandfather irritated a mule. His grandfather, LaForge explained to his audience at this week's Wyoming Wednesday at Sheridan's Fifth Street Information Center, was a scout for Gen. George Armstrong Custer's Seventh Cavalry.

Representatives of Sheridan County's 4-H and FFA chapters are moving into the county fairgrounds office this week in preparation for the 2013 Sheridan County Fair. Activities start Wednesday, with Thursday being the official opening day of the annual event.

What's Next For The Cowboy Carousel

After some well-publicized fund raising events during the last year, it's been rather quiet on the Cowboy Carousel front recently, but the committee has still been busy getting ready for the next phase in the project's development.
