Parking Area for Mavrakis Pond to Receive Paving

The parking area for Mavrakis Pond will soon be getting a makeover as the Sheridan City Council awarded the base bid to Fletcher Construction in the amount of $252,730 to pave the area.

Sheridan Links Annexation and PUD Approved

An ordinance annexing 57.4 acres of land as a Planned Unit Development was unanimously approved Monday night by the Sheridan City Council. City Planning Director Robert Briggs says that the Sheridan Links planned unit development is a three phase PUD.

As a result of the Wyoming Legislature's decision last year, the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission has the authority to develop regulations governing firearm cartridges and archery equipment used for the taking of big and trophy game animals as well as game birds.

As we reported last month, the official Story Community Assessment began on Monday and will continue on Tuesday, as seven more meetings will be held to allow Story residents and landowners to share their vision for the area. Sheridan Media's Chris Foy has more.

Brief Look At This Year's City Of Buffalo Budget

At the last Buffalo City Council meeting, the council approved on first reading Ordinance No. 1363, the annual appropriation, or budget bill.

The second reading is expected to be approved Tuesday and finally adopted later this month on third reading.
