Officials with the Sheridan Senior Center want to get the word out to the community that a solicitation letter that's been making its way around Sheridan, is not in any way associated with the Senior Center.

Conant Avoids Possible Death Sentence in Plea Deal

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Prosecutors have agreed not to seek the death penalty against the Wheatland man who pleaded no contest this week to killing his three sons and his brother in 2011. Everett Conant III entered the pleas Wednesday at a hearing in Evanston, home of the Wyoming State Hospital.

Applications for the position of Johnson County Fire Warden were accepted by the Johnson County Commission up to their meeting June 18th and the commissioners then appointed Rick Farris as the new Fire Warden for the county.
