The Story community is hoping to get some help from the Wyoming Division of Forestry to build a fire break around the south and west borders of the town.

Buffalo Council Approves Bid For Picnic Shelter At Park

At their Tuesday meeting, the Buffalo City Council accepted a bid to construct a picnic shelter in Washington Park near the outdoor pool.

Sweckard Construction of Laramie gave the lone bid on the project at $47,517.

Work Session On Property Tax Relief May 29th In Buffalo

Coming up on Wednesday, May 29th, the Johnson County Treasurer's Office will be holding a work session on the Property Tax Relief Program offered by the State of Wyoming.

Johnson County Has New Interim Fire Warden

At their meeting Tuesday, the Johnson County Commissioners appointed an interim Fire Warden for the County, appointing Powder River Fire District Chief Stave Haines to the position.
