Adopting a Plan For the Cemetery

Six months ago a Cemetery Planning Committee was formed with the goal of developing a master plan for the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Monday night, the Sheridan City Council approved that master plan unanimously.

School Calender Voting Coming Up Soon

Officials with Sheridan County School District #2 have put together two options for the District's 2014-2015 School Calender. Parents with students in District #2 along with staff will soon have a chance to vote on the two options.

Miss Wyoming Will Be in Sheridan Saturday

Miss Wyoming 2013 Lexie Madden will be in northeast Wyoming this weekend as part of a promotional campaign by Miss America and the 2013 contestants. Madden will be making appearances at the Gillette and Sheridan Walmart stores.

'March on Monsanto' Hits Sheridan

Monsanto is an American multinational agricultural biotech corporation that calls themselves a sustainable agriculture company, but some say the group is killing small farms and local agriculture as well as causing health problems related to consumption of its foods. This Saturday there will be a "March on Monsanto" in Sheridan designed to raise awareness to the problems posed by GMO foods. Sheridan Media's Chris Foy has more.
