U.S. Senators John Barrasso and Mike Enzi were among others introducing the State Mineral Revenue Protection Act Tuesday, in hopes that it would protect money they say is rightfully owed to the states under the Mineral Leasing Act.
BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A federal judge pushed back the trial date for four defendants in a corruption case on Montana's Crow Indian Reservation. U.S. District Judge Sam Haddon on Tuesday canceled a planned June 10 start date for the trial and reset it for August 13.
During Tuesday's Sheridan City Council budget work session, Sheridan Police Chief Richard Adriaens said that injury accidents in the past calender year are down 40 percent. Adriaens says that there are a number of contributing factors.

Sheridan County School District #2 Trustees approved the bid award to Delta Construction in the amount of $1.2 million to renovate the Story School. District #2 Facilities Director Julie Carroll says that the school will be like new when complete.
