The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission will be meeting in Casper on April 25 and 26 to set next fall's hunting seasons for big game animals. The commission will establish license quotas and season specifics for many species, including wild bison.

Street Striping Project Bid Awarded

The Sheridan City Council Monday night unamiously awarded the bid for the 2013 street striping project to Streamline Markings, Inc of Billings, Montana in the amount of $97,825.

In a list published by the Boston Athletic Association, 23 Wyoming residents entered in the Boston Marathon - a race that was rocked Monday by a series of explosions.

Task Force Set for Capital Facilities Projects

Elected officials representing Dayton, Ranchester, Clearmont, Sheridan and Sheridan County met Monday afternoon to discuss renewing the Capital Facilities Tax this November. In 2009, Sheridan County voters passed the Cap Tax with almost 70 percent of the vote in favor of the renewal.

North Main Interchange Public Open House

The North Main Association, the City of Sheridan and the Wyoming Department of Transportation will host a public open house on the North Sheridan Interchange Project this Tuesday. The meeting will specifically focus on enhancements from Fort Road to the old Port of Entry.

Jury Selected For Wilkerson Trial, Opening Set For Tuesday

The trial of Richard Wilkerson began Monday with the selection and seating of a jury, which took most of the day to complete, according to officials at the Johnson County Judicial Center.

The trial itself, with opening arguments, is scheduled to begin Tuesday morning in Johnson County District Court.

Shredder Takes to Sheridan Streets

Bryan Ritterbush, a 22-year military veteran, and his wife, Michelle, got a new truck in January. It's equipped with a rear-view camera, plenty of room in the back, and teeth.
