52nd Annual Stars of Tomorrow Held Friday Night

It was a packed house Friday night at the WYO Theater in Sheridan for the 52nd annual Kiwanis "Stars of Tomorrow Contest". It was the finals for kids ages K-12 to shine in the local talent contest which featured four age divisions.

Sara Mast Artist Reception Saturday at Ucross Foundation

The Ucross Foundation Art Gallery will host an artist reception for Sara Mast, in collaboration with Roderic Mast, Eric Mast, Jr., Emily Mast, Morrison Mast, Kassandra Mast and Terrill Mast.

Report: Chemical Spill Damage Contained

The final report on a chemical spill into a Yellowstone River tributary along the Montana-Wyoming border says the initial release of 1,000 gallons of road deicer was enough to briefly double the river's total flow.

NWCCD Trustees Approve Campus Center Plans

At their meeting Thursday, the Board of Trustees for the Northern Wyoming Community College District approved plans to move forward with renovation and expansion of a new campus center at Sheridan College.

Thursday afternoon children from Sheridan County spent the afternoon getting their pearly whites examined free of charge thanks to the 4th annual “Give Kids a Smile Day” at Sheridan College.

Governor Mead Explains Vetoes of Portions of Budget Bill

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead Thursday vetoed portions of the supplemental budget bill that lawmakers sent to his desk last week. One of the Governor's line-item vetoes allows for more money to fight wildfires this summer.
