After tabling the item two weeks ago at their last meeting, the Sheridan City Council removed from the table the Cloud Peak Ranch 17th filing Monday night. The Council, after much discussion, elected to table the item once again, this time, indefinitely.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The legislative panel responsible for drafting a supplemental Wyoming state budget bill recommends that lawmakers reject Gov. Matt Mead's proposal to cut the flow of energy revenues going into permanent savings and school construction.

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - The central Wyoming snowpack is lagging this year, hurting business at Hogadon Ski Area on Casper Mountain. The snowpack in the northern Laramie Range is between 60 to 70 percent of the 30-year average. The ski area opened a month late on Dec. 30 and only two runs are open.

Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill was a guest on KROE'S Public Pulse program Monday.

The latest offering from the Sheridan Civic Theater Guild will open this week at the Carriage House Theater in Sheridan. The play “A Nice Family Gathering” is a dark comedy about a family getting together for Thanksgiving.

This past summer the Free Clinic of Sheridan County officially changed their name to the Sheridan Health Center. While a lot has changed in the almost 8 years the health center has been open, the goal of providing health care to those who cannot afford it is still their mission.

The Sheridan City Council will address streets and infrastructure when they meet for their second meeting of the year this evening.

The Northern Wyoming Community College District Board discussed possible future construction at Sheridan College at their meeting in Buffalo Thursday.
