Sheridan College President Paul Young reported to the Northern Wyoming Community College District Board at their last meeting that Buffalo's old Clear Creek School building is still on the college's radar for a possible move once the Johnson County School District vacates the building.

Public Input Sought On Jo Co Library Expansion

The library has scheduled representatives of the architectural design team to be on hand at numerous publicmeetings and events in the coming weeks to discuss the new addition to the library and gather the public's ideas on input on the proposed project.

A group of alumni from the University of Wyoming College of Engineering is working to secure $115 million in state and industry money to boost their alma mater back to a position of national prominence.

City Recycling Survey Released

During the month of December the City of Sheridan conducted a recycling survey where 250 households were contacted by phone to garner their input on the City's recycling program. City Public Works Director Nic Bateson.

Buffalo Chamber's Winter Gathering Saturday

The fifth annual Buffalo Chamber of Commerce Winter Gathering will be this Saturday at the Deerfield Building downtown.

This year's theme is “Mardi Gras,” and those attending are encouraged to come in their best Mardi Gras Ball attire.

Johnson County BOH: New Nurse, Flu Update

The Johnson County Board of Health had their first quartely meeting of 2013 with the Johnson County Commissioners. The board introduced the new State Nurse, gave an update on flu cases in the county, and reported on capital construction at the healthcare center.
