Sheridan Media Week in Review

It's time once again to take a look back at some of the top news stories from this past week with the Sheridan Media Week in Review. After tabling the item two weeks ago at their last meeting, the the Sheridan City Council Monday night removed from the table the Cloud Peak Ranch 17th filing. The Council, after much discussion, elected to table the item once again, this time, indefinitely. Councilman John Heath.

Buffalo City Council Briefs From Meeting

Buffalo City Attorney Ben Kirven requested permission from the city council to began acquiring the easements and rights-of-way for the NW Water Transmission Line Project.

Legislature Passes Wyoming School Chief Duties Bill

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A bill making major changes in the duties of the Wyoming superintendent of public instruction has passed the state Legislature. On Friday, Senate File 104 passed the House on 39-20 vote and the Senate then concurred with the House version on a 21-9 vote.

Fire Causes 'Extensive Damage' To Buffalo's Joy Appliance

Buffalo Fire crews responded to a report of a structure fire at about 4am Friday at Joy Appliance and Video on North Lobban Street.

Revenue Down, Expenses Up at Sheridan Memorial Hospital

Inpatient numbers at Sheridan Memorial Hospital continue to be down when compared to last year. The lower numbers have resulted in a drop in revenue says Hospital Chief Financial Officer Ed Johlman.
