Four More Nationally Certified Teachers Honored By JCSD1

At their meeting Monday night, the Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees honored four Kaycee teachers that have earned National Certification. These four are in addition to the nine honored in Buffalo earlier this month.

Buffalo's Worlds Of Music Presents Music Of Muldova

The music of Muldova will be featured this weekend in performances and a workshop in Buffalo.

Worlds Of Music, in cooperation with the Susie Bowling Lawrence Hospice will present “La Taifas Quartet” in three performances, a workshop and dance Friday and Saturday at various locations in Buffalo.

3rd Annual Citizen's Police Academy in Sheridan is Approaching

The Sheridan Police Department will one again be hosting a Citizen's Police Academy this year. Applications are now being accepted for the 3rd annual Police Academy that will mix classroom teaching with hands on practical exercises. Sheridan Police Sgt. Travis Koltiska explains.

Laramie High School Wins 17th Annual Wyoming Academic Challenge

Laramie High School took top honors in the 17th Annual Wyoming Academic Challenge at Sheridan College over the weekend.  Members of the team took home a trophy, medals, and one-year full tuition scholarships from Sheridan College.

Arrests Made In Joy Appliance Fire

Arrests have been made in connection with Friday's early morning fire at Joy Appliance and Video in Buffalo.

Joseph Kelly, age 20 and Benjamin Kent, age 21 are presently being held at the Johnson County Justice Center on charges of Arson in the third degree.

Campbell County Leads State in Flu Cases

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming health officials say Campbell County leads the state in reported flu cases this year. According to a report by the Wyoming Health Department, the county had 402 confirmed cases of flu through the week of Jan. 6-12.
