SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) - Two employees from The Sheridan Press are in a Montana hospital after being seriously injured in a snowmobiling accident. The newspaper says photographer Blaine McCartney and sports editor Aaron Atkins were hurt while riding a groomed trail near Burgess Junction on Sunday.

Sheridan City Council President John Bigelow introduced an ordinance Monday night that would raise the Mayor's salary from $24,000 a year to $50,000.

Two Pathway Bridges Set to Go Up This Week in Sheridan

Two bridges intended to greatly benefit and connect pathways in Sheridan will be going up this week. The first one is in South Park and will provide walking access across Little Goose Creek and is expected to go up this afternoon.
