Johnson County Commission Adds Grant Money To Budget

Money from Homeland Security Grants was added to the county's budget during the commission's last meeting February 21.
Fund 59 and Fund 60 appropriations were added as line items in the budget for local law enforcement/sheriff's office and for local emergency management in the county.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will be hosting a seminar in Gillette this week entitled “Staying Safe in Bear, Lion and Wolf Country”. The seminar is held every year and typically rotates between Sheridan, Gillette and Buffalo as to where it's held.

Bill to Add Judge in Sheridan Gets First Reading

Proposed legislation would set aside $950,000 of the two-year budget for the state in order to add an extra judge in Sheridan and Johnson Counties.
