Whether there have been more search and rescue operations this year or just more attention drawn to the issue in the news, the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office and Sheridan County Search and Rescue teams have been busy so far this year.
The Sheridan City Council Monday night allocated $75,000 toward economic development. The first allocation was for $25,000 to conduct a redundant power investigation within the Wrench Ranch Hills subdivision and the Hi-Tech Business Park in north Sheridan.
