The Johnson County School District 1 Board of Trustees held their second meeting of March in Kaycee last Monday, and approved a number of employment requests and heard an update on the Cloud Peak School project.

The 9th Annual Johnson County Small Business Expo happened this past Friday and Saturday at the Fairgrounds and was a big success again, according to Buffalo Chamber of Commerce Director Angela Jarvis.

Neighbors helping neighbors, that's what took place Saturday night in Dayton. It was a benefit spaghetti dinner held at the Tongue River High School to help Amy and Richard Schneck.
