Mraz Makes Initial Appearance in Circuit Court

Earlier this week 23-year-old Sheridan resident Miranda Mraz was arrested on the charges of Larceny by Bailee and False Reporting in connection with the incident last Saturday at the Eagles Club at 5th and Main. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more on this developing story.

RMI Roundup Begins This Weekend in Buffalo

This year's Rocky Mountain International Roundup is being hosted by Buffalo, and will happen this weekend, April 29 through May 1.

The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce has been working hard over the last year to make sure the roundup is a success.

As part of its series celebrating April being National Poetry Month, the library hosted a poetry reading with Jane Wohl, Thursday evening.

Wohl shared a poem called “Triage” which is also the name of her second published book of poetry.

Council to Address Vacant Ward Two Seat

The Sheridan City Council will hold a special meeting next Monday to fill the open seat vacated by John Bigelow at the end of March. City Clerk Scott Badley says that they've received letters of interest from two applicants.

Sheridan College Student Interns at the Legislature

Recently Sheridan College freshman Kate Barlow had the opportunity to attend the full session of the 2012 Legislature from February 10th to March 9th.
