The Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees held their second meeting for September in Kaycee Monday night, and one topic of discussion was student enrollment numbers at the district's schools.
The City of Sheridan Planning Commission by a unanimous vote, approved the Holly Ponds planned unit development #9 that will re-plat three lots and one out lot into four lots and one out lot on just over 29 acres.

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - Campbell County Memorial Hospital confirms three cases of invasive Group A Streptococcus, also known as flesh-eating bacteria. The Gillette News-Record reports the hospital disclosed the cases Friday. All three cases occurred in the past six weeks.
A bond hearing was held Monday afternoon for a Buffalo man who is being held in the Johnson County Justice Center in connection with the death of another man in what appears to be an altercation in a bar in Buffalo last weekend.
The Sheridan-Johnson Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Wyoming Community Foundation, has announced in a media release that they've awarded three different grants to Sheridan and Johnson County non-profits in the amount of $20,000.
