To recognize October as Dental Hygiene month, students with the Sheridan College Dental Hygiene program will host the first ever “Miles for Smiles” 5k run and walk in mid October in Sheridan.

SC Pat Hamilton Memorial Rodeo This Weekend

Sheridan College will host its 52nd annual college rodeo this weekend, September 28-29 at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds. Slack will be held beginning on Friday at 1:00 pm as well as on Saturday at 8:00 am. Performances will follow starting at 6:00 pm on both Friday and Saturday.

Fire Closure Area Reduced

Officials with the Bighorn National Forest have announced another reduction in the closure area related to the Gilead wildfire.

Oil Tanker Crash Closes I-25

The Wyoming Highway Patrol has announced Interstate 25 is closed due to a an oil tanker crash near Wheatland. Troopers estimate approximately 200 barrels of crude oil and cargo have spilled on the highway because the tanker was breached during the crash.
