Buffalo City Planner Zach Montgomery updated the Johnson County Commissioners on joint city/county projects and also gave a report on the city/county engineer position.

Montgomery said Crazy Woman Square is on schedule to be completed by December of this year and so far is under budget.

The Buffalo City Council voted to approve on third and final reading Ordinance No. 1358, to vacate a portion of an alleyway to adjacent landowners. City Attorney ben Kirven will have a Quitclaim Deed for the mayor to sign at the next council meeting.

The Johnson County Healthcare Center's 2012 construction project should be completed by the end of September, according to Hospital Administrator Sandy Ward, who updated the hospital's Board of Trustees at their monthly meeting Wednesday night.
