UPDATE 1:35PM According to a media release issued by Sheridan Fire-Rescue, at 8:52 Thursday morning, Sheridan Fire-Rescue, the Sheridan Police Department and Rocky Mountain Ambulance responded to a one-vehicle accident on east Brundage Street near the Sheridan Ice Rink.

The body of a woman found in a car yesterday in Crazy Woman Canyon has been identified as 42-year old Pamela Malone of Buffalo.

Johnson County Sheriff Steve Kozisek gives us more details on the incident.

A fire started by lightening Tuesday evening 13 miles north of Sheridan is extinguished.

Rain is helping crews battling some wildfires in Wyoming, including a 16-square-mile Squirrel Creek Fire about 30 miles southwest of Laramie.

Amendments to the Sheridan County rules and regulations governing zoning for small wind energy systems were approved this week by the Sheridan County Commissioners.

Sheridan County Commissioners approved a contract with Rocky Mountain Ambulance to provide emergency medical services to Sheridan County residents. Prior to the Commissioner's approval, County Administrator Renee' Obermueller pointed out that the subsidy to RMA continues to go down.

Officials with the City of Buffalo want to remind residents that watering restrictions are in effect and that the City's Police Department will be checking for violations of the restrictions, where violators could be subject to fines.
