With rabies cases on the rise in Sheridan County, the annual Dog and Cat Shelter of Sheridan annual rabies clinic couldn't have come at a better time. The clinic will begin tomorrow and run through Saturday at the Kendrick Park Band Shell.

Two Sheridan men were recently sentenced in Federal Court cases in Wyoming. 28-year-old Richard Wayne Gray was sentenced to serve a little over 11 years in prison by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson.

A drama series written by a local author will premiere on A&E tonight at 8:00 p.m. The Longmire Series is based off books written by Craig Johnson, and the story takes place in Absaroka County, which is nestled between Sheridan and Johnson Counties, but closer to the Montana border.
