Rabies Clinic is This Week in Sheridan

With rabies cases on the rise in Sheridan County, the annual Dog and Cat Shelter of Sheridan annual rabies clinic couldn't have come at a better time. The clinic will begin tomorrow and run through Saturday at the Kendrick Park Band Shell.

Crazy Woman Square Revitalization Underway

Work on Buffalo's Crazy Woman Square revitalization project has finally begun, with equipment moving into the area of downtown to begin the process of constructing a band shell/restroom facility, a gateway arch, murals and other amenities in the city-owned property to attract visitors and make the area more user-friendly.

Hoop Jam 2012

It was the best of black top basketball held over the weekend. It was the 12th annual Hoop Jam 3 on 3 Street Basketball Tournament. Folks from North Dakota and Colorado along with hundreds of teams from across Wyoming took part.

Two Sheridan Men Sentenced in Federal Court

Two Sheridan men were recently sentenced in Federal Court cases in Wyoming. 28-year-old Richard Wayne Gray was sentenced to serve a little over 11 years in prison by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson.

"Longmire" Series Starts Tonight

A drama series written by a local author will premiere on A&E tonight at 8:00 p.m. The Longmire Series is based off books written by Craig Johnson, and the story takes place in Absaroka County, which is nestled between Sheridan and Johnson Counties, but closer to the Montana border.
