The City of Sheridan received some good news from the state this week regarding funding for the West Downtown Phase III Construction Project. City Engineer Lane Thompson gives us the details.

U.S. Representatives Cynthia Lummis, Wyoming, and Denny Rehbrg, Montana, both big supporters of Powder River Basin coal production, earned the backing of bipartisan members of Congress in a letter to the Army Corps of Engineers and the Department of the Interior, urging them to reject calls of an unprecedented expansion of environmental reviews for coal exports.

Friday night at the Normative Services track, west of Sheridan, the annual Relay for Life fundraiser was held, raising money in the fight against cancer.
