The Sheridan County Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval of an amendment to the County's rules and regulations to allow small wind energy systems in all of the zoning districts with the exception of the airport district.
At their upcoming meeting next Monday, the Sheridan City Council will be considering approval of a donation of five acres of land in the Wrench Ranch Hills Subdivision. The land is being donated by Neltje and Butch Jellis. Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey.
Earlier this week the Natural Resource Conservation Service in Casper reported that the overall state snowpack is at 45 percent of average, which is considerably lower than last year at this time when it was at 152 percent of average.
