A phone call to the Bighorn National Forest Office confirmed that a prescribed burn in the Woodrock area of the Bighorn National Forest is what caused the smoke plume above the Big Horn Mountains late Tuesday afternoon. The prescribed burn is expected to produce smoke over the next several days.
