A phone call to the Bighorn National Forest Office confirmed that a prescribed burn in the Woodrock area of the Bighorn National Forest is what caused the smoke plume above the Big Horn Mountains late Tuesday afternoon. The prescribed burn is expected to produce smoke over the next several days.

The Wyoming Game and Fish is seeking information about a poaching incident that occurred late last week in Sheridan County. Game and Fish Information Specialist Warren Mischke.

Lake DeSmet Counties Coalition Administrator Edith Johnson-LaMeres provided the Sheridan County Commissioners with an in depth update on Lake DeSmet Tuesday.
