The Wyoming Department of Health and the Casper-Natrona County Health Department released a warning to Wyoming residents late last week to avoid the use of “spice” due to potentially critical health effects.

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead made various appointments to state boards and commissions Monday. Of the various appointments that the Governor made to the Senate, two are from Sheridan. Michelle Sullivan was appointed to a five-year term on the Parks and Cultural Resources Committee.

At the last Buffalo City Council meeting, Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder requested approval to apply for a speed enforcement grant, which the department has used before but must re-apply for as requested. The grant will help pay for overtime and other expenses associated with the enforcement.
