Three Minnesota snowmobilers were found uninjured in the Bighorns on Saturday after a rescue operation that lasted more than 12 hours and involved four search teams from three different counties.

A routine traffic stop in Buffalo Saturday night ended in possession of a controlled substance charges for an out-of-state driver.

The Wyoming Doomsday Bill met its end by the slightest of margins last week in Cheyenne, but the idea behind it may have left some wondering whether or not such a measure might be necessary.

The Wyoming Legislature enters the final week of its 20-day budget session today as all bills passed Friday will have second reading.

The Sheridan City Council will meet for their first meeting of March this evening. The Council will act on third and final reading of an ordinance to raise the Mayor's salary from $24,000 a year to $48,000.

Last year in December we told you about Sheridan resident Marion Niedringhaus being filmed by crews from HGTV for an upcoming episode of the television show “House Hunters”. The time for that episode to air has come, as it will debut tonight on HGTV.

House Bill 26, introduced by the Joint Judiciary Committee, would give the Fourth Judicial District, Sheridan and Johnson Counties, a second judge to sit in Buffalo.

Money from Homeland Security Grants was added to the county's budget during the commission's last meeting February 21.
Fund 59 and Fund 60 appropriations were added as line items in the budget for local law enforcement/sheriff's office and for local emergency management in the county.

The annual Johnson County Health Fair was held this weekend at the fairgrounds in Buffalo, and was a success if based on the crowds that were in attendance.

At the last Buffalo City Council meeting, Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder requested approval to apply for a speed enforcement grant, which the department has used before but must re-apply for as requested. The grant will help pay for overtime and other expenses associated with the enforcement.
