House Bill 47 to adopt a Hedonic Wage Index failed on introduction last week in Cheyenne, a bill that would have altered the way that school districts are compensated to pay staff.

The bid openings for the construction of Buffalo's new Cloud Peak School were held at the school district's offices Wednesday afternoon.
Eight bids were opened and read with the bids ranging from a low of $11,620,000 to a high of $13,028,625.
