Sheridan County School District 1 board of trustees met for their February meeting Tuesday night in Ranchester. Superintendent Marty Kobza says that the board approved a personnel change at the meeting.

Tuesday night's Sheridan City Council meeting began with Mayor Dave Kinskey delivering his eighth annual State of the City address. The Mayor stated that there are three key components to economic development, in which he described them as the three legs of a stool.

At Tuesday's meeting, the Johnson County Commissioners approved a request from Road and Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer to award the engineering contract for the Canal Road Bridge to WWC Engineering of Sheridan.
