The Lighted Christmas Parade was in downtown Buffalo Saturday evening. The event was full of shopping, fun, and free chili.

Customers were already in the parking lot at Star Liquor as early as seven.

While the final count of attendees isn't in just yet, volunteers at the 22nd Annual Community Holiday Dinner say it was by far the best year ever. The Holiday Inn Convention Center was packed full of people enjoying a free meal and volunteering to help support the event. Even Santa and Mrs. Claus made an appearance.

In 1988, the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Auxiliary started the Trees of Light ceremony as a means to raise funds for the hospital. In 1989, the name was changed to Trees of Love. The ceremony is held every year on the first Sunday in December.
