Saturday night the Kalif Shrine became a tropical paradise for the 2nd annual Winter Wilderness Holiday Ball, a fundraiser for the Wyoming Wilderness Association.

Gov. Mead Pleased with Fed Purchase of State Land

Governor Matt Mead applauded the U.S. Department of the Interior and the National Park Service for finalizing the purchase of an 86-acre parcel of state land. This is the second sale of state land inside Grand Teton National Park and is part of an agreement made in 2010.

The Bureau of Land Management recently announced its new standards for the oil and gas industries that can help better protect wildlife.
