Buffalo Council Approves Emergency Response Plan

At their last meeting the Buffalo City Council approved the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) as drafted and presented by Johnson County Emergency Management Coordinator Marilyn Connolly.

Deer Population Control Program Improves Sheridan Safety

The Sheridan Police Department reports as of the end of last week, 69 deer have been harvested by police officers as part of a population control program designed to improve citizen safety within city limits. For the past few years, the PD gets permission to harvest deer that encroach into town.
