Sheridan College in Johnson County will have their annual Gingerbread Workshop this Saturday, December 1st at the Campus on South Main Street.

The workshop will be from 10 to 11:30am.

The 20th annual Festival of Trees dinner and silent auction to benefit Sheridan's Special Olympics athletes kicks off at 5:30 Thursday night. $25 at the door buys a seat for dinner at the Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall.

Permits are now available for people to cut down Christmas trees on approved areas of U.S. Bureau of Land Management land in Wyoming.

Permits are available in any BLM field office in Wyoming. The BLM says prices generally range from $5 to $10 per tree depending on the tree's size and location.
