WHP Intercepts Drug Shipment

Wyoming State Troopers discovered 23 pounds of marijuana in a false compartment of a pickup truck during a routine traffic stop on Monday. The driver, 38-year-old William Ritter of Virginia, was pulled over for speeding on Highway 287, six miles south of Laramie.

A 65 year-old Gillette tow truck driver was helping another driver when he became the victim of a fatal hit and run on Interstate 90 near Gillette Sunday morning. Larry G. Schofield was operating the controls of his rollback tow truck in the emergency lane, in the process of helping someone who collided with a deer, when he was struck by a pickup truck.
