Johnson County To Reimburse Assessor's Legal Fees

At Wednesday's meeting, the Johnson County Commissioners voted to reimburse County Assessor Cindy Rogers for the legal fees she incurred seeking guidance on the possible tax ramifications stemming from a lease with the Wyoming Game and Fish.

Johnson County Agrees To Terms On Lake DeSmet Buyout

As reported Wednesday on Sheridan Media, the Johnson County Commissioners voted to accept the proposal from Sheridan County to buyout Sheridan County's interest in Lake DeSmet and sign the lease with Wyoming Game and Fish.

Five weeks ago the Center for Vital Community at Sheridan College orchestrated a meeting that brought community members together to form eleven study circles to brainstorm on how to turn poverty in Sheridan into prosperity.
