The federal government is seeking to have a lawsuit over management of wolves moved to a court in Wyoming.

A coalition of environmental groups filed the lawsuit earlier this month in Washington, D.C.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is reminding hunters that general and some limited-quota elk licenses will remain on sale through next January.

A recent poll conducted by the University of Wyoming, and reported by the Billings Gazette, shows Wyomingites in the northeastern corner of the state are the most dissatisfied with the reintroduction of wolves into the state.

An extra police presence will be seen downtown in the coming weeks for various events during the Holiday season.
