Commissioner Nickel Weighs in on Lake DeSmet Meeting

Earlier this week Sheridan County Commissioners held a special meeting to appoint Commission Chair Mike Nickel as the County's representative to meet with a representative from Johnson County and the Lake DeSmet Counties Coalition regarding water rights on Lake DeSmet.

Although they had a “soft” opening and have been serving people since Buffalo's Oktoberfest celebration last month, the Clear Creek Brewing Company will have their official Grand Opening ceremonies this Saturday at their brewpub.

The Johnson County Commissioners have announced that their public meeting to introduce the various proposals, allow input from the rest of the commission, and to gather input and comments from the public will be Tuesday, October 30th at 9am in the Commission Offices at the historic courthouse.
