October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the Advocacy and Resource Center in Sheridan held their “March Against Family Violence” down Main Street Saturday morning and Sheridan Media's Judy Hagerott was there.

Man Held In Montana On Cody Abduction Case

The Cody Enterprise is reporting that a man is being held after being arrested in Bozeman, Montana in connection with the October 8th abduction of an 11-year old Cody girl.

Anonymous sources cited by the newspaper said the man was arrested and is being interviewed today by authorities.

Candidate Forums Slated for This Week

With this year's General Election just a few weeks away, the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee will be hosting candidate forums this Tuesday and Wednesday at Sheridan College. Chamber Program Coordinator Teresa Detimore.
