Jason Carder, acting Buffalo Police Chief, reported to the Buffalo City Council at their meeting last week that a recent search of Buffalo High School had found no drugs on the premises.

The Wyoming County Commissioners' Association will be conducting a feasibility study for a Wyoming Counties Pooled Health Plan, and the Johnson County Commissioners at last week's meeting decided to participate in and cooperate with the study to see if the pool could save the County money in the future for providing an employee health care plan.

Buffalo Will Recycle Christmas Trees Again This Year

Residents of Buffalo will have an option again this year when disposing their old Christmas trees. Instead of throwing them out with the regular trash, the trees can be put to good use and recycled into mulch or some other useful material instead of taking valuable space in the landfill.

Last week, students from Buffalo High School volunteered in numerous ways to raise money and food donationas for the Bread of Life Food Pantry in Buffalo.
This past Friday, their hard work paid off for over 112 people that showed up for help to carry them through the Christmas Holiday.
