The annual Red Hat Society's State Convention was held in Buffalo over the weekend, and the town's hospitality and events were a huge hit with the estimated 150 ladies in attendance from all over the region.

It was a day devoted to dogs and their owners Saturday, at the 3rd annual “Scratch and Sniff Fun Day” held at Kendrick Park.

The event raised about $1,800 for the Sheridan County Dog and Cat Shelter.
