The Wyoming State Fair kicks off next weekend in Douglas, and as part of an effort to promote the pitfalls of tobacco use, the Wyoming Department of Health has signed on as a sponsor.

A University of Wyoming researcher says the composition of plant species on Wyoming’s grasslands could be shifting over the next 100 years. That’s one of the results of a study that was conducted to determine how increases in carbon dioxide can affect high-plains grasslands.
