The 3rd annual Children and Adults in Partnership Benefit Polo Cup will take place Sunday at the Big Horn Equestrian Center.

Additional resources arrived, and steady progress was made Friday on the eight lightning caused fires on the Bighorn National Forest. Fire crews with the Bighorn National Forest were reinforced Friday by 3 hot shot crews, additional smoke jumpers and a helicopter.

The Dogs Will Swim

The annual Dog Swim is Saturday at Kendrick Pool.

The Kendrick Pool will close for the season today by going to the dogs so to speak, as canines will be more than welcome to cool off with a dip this afternoon in the pool. Recreation Specialist with the Sheridan Recreation District Nick Dore.

Fires Continue to Burn in Yellowstone

Several new fires are burning in Yellowstone National Park.

Five new fires have been discovered in Yellowstone National Park, which now brings the total of fires reported in the park this year to 14. Yellowstone Public Information Officer Al Nash says that all of the fires are relatively small in size.
