Johnson County Will Have White Powder Response Exercise

Emergency Management Coordinator for Johnson County, Marilyn Connelly, put in a request to the County Commissioners at last week's meeting for them to authorize the White Powder Response Plan, and to authorize a preparedness exercise to be staged at the courthouse at a future date of her choosing.

Jo Co Commission Accepts Homeland Security Grant

The Johnson County Commissioners, at last week's meeting, voted unanimously to accept a Public Health Emergency Preparedness grant from the State of Wyoming.

National Watercolor Exhibition

Elizabeth Thurow of Sheridan received an honorable mention for her watercolor called "Flower Fiesta."

The Sagebrush Community Art Center in Sheridan is playing host for the 26th annual “Watercolor Wyoming National Exhibition,” now on display through the end of August.
