“Burning House”, A Benefit Fundraiser

Hundreds gathered Sunday beneath some old cottonwoods at the family homestead on Higby Road to help an old friend. Jon Quarterman recently lost his home to fire and the community showed up to lend a hand.

The folks of Dayton know how to throw a party. It was the 35th annual Dayton Days Weekend which began Thursday evening and finished up on Sunday.

The Sheridan County 4-H Fair got off to a great start Saturday at the fairgrounds. That afternoon cat connoisseurs gathered in the Exhibit Hall as kids of all ages put their kitties through the paces before the judges.
