Earlier this month Sheridan College chose CTA Architects as the design team for the College's Academic Center that will be built at a yet to be determined location on campus.

21-year-old Trevor Dunham was arraigned in 4th Judicial District Court Thursday morning. Dunham is being charged with three counts.

May is Older Americans Month, and the Sheridan Senior Center, the Sheridan Rec. District and the Sheridan YMCA are teaming up for the 7th Annual Senior Health and Wellness Day slated for Wednesday, May 25th for Sheridan County residents age 50 and older.

The Johnson County Commission voted to end the contract between the county and Volunteers of America for juvenile probation services.

The Incident Command is in place in Buffalo, Johnson County and Kaycee in case flooding becomes a major problem locally.

Both Sheridan and Johnson County remain under a flood watch that's expected to last throughout the weekend. Sheridan County Emergency Management Coordinator Dave Coleman says that Leopard Street in Sheridan is typically the first to flood, and that Big Goose Creek remains low in that area.

Thursday's Sheridan City Council budget work session involved several components that included Sheridan Travel and Tourism, the Police Department and Municipal Court.

Johnson County, Kaycee and Buffalo are facing possible flooding in the next couple of days especially, and through the next couple of weeks depending on how the weather shapes up.

Horses being brought into Wyoming must be inspected by a veterinarian within 72 hours of entering the state.

With the National Weather Service predicting upwards of 4 inches of rain in the next several days, the likelihood of flooding in low lying areas in Sheridan County is anticipated.
