Word came today from Al Nash with the Yellowstone Public Affairs Office that crews are working to restore access between the northeast section of the Yellowstone and the rest of the park, after the only open route was closed Saturday by a rock slide.

A Flood Watch is in effect for Johnson County through this evening. A Flood Watch means there is potential for flooding based on forecasts.

PINEDALE, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming Game and Fish Department says winter was hard on mule deer in western Wyoming.

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - The North Platte River near Casper rose to "action stage" Sunday morning. But forecasters say the rise is mostly caused by reservoirs upstream letting out water to make room for snowmelt.

Omaha, Neb. – Rapidly changing weather conditions in Montana, northern Wyoming and the western Dakotas have prompted the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to make adjustments to previously announced releases. Future releases will reach record levels considerably higher than those previously announced.
