The Johnson County School Board, at their meeting Monday night, approved a new track and field complex for Kaycee High School.

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead was in Buffalo Tuesday to tour the nearly-complete Buffalo/Johnson County Justice Center.
Governor Mead came in response to an invitation from Groathouse Construction, who is in charge of construction of the facility.

The Johnson County School Board, at their Monday meeting, also heard recommendations on employment for the next school year and approved them all.

Heavy rainfall throughout the day and evening caused flash flooding throughout parts of Sheridan County Tuesday that included the temporary evacuation of residents in Downer Addition to the the K-Mart parking lot.
