While the first April meeting of the Sheridan County Commission was under an hour, about twenty minutes of public comment was spent on the issue of Resolution 11-01-001.

A request from Developer Steve Grimshaw to rezone just over 3 acres of land north of the Quail Ridge Drive and Covey Run Road intersection was denied by the Sheridan City Council.

After a brief executive session Monday night, the Sheridan City Council held a hearing in regard to a grievance filed by the Local International Association of Firefighters Union.

The Sheridan Artists’ Guild, Et al, or SAGE, is opening the Sheridan Junior High School Art Extravaganza exhibit today at the SAGE Gallery at the Sheridan College Main Street location.
