Former Wyoming Governor Elected to Arch Coal Board

Former Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal was elected to the Arch Coal Board of Directors.

Arch Coal, Inc. has announced that former Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal has been elected to its Board of Directors effective immediately.

Department of Interior responds to FOIA Request

The U.S. Department of Interior has responded to a Freedom of Information Act request from former Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal. The response includes 76 documents and over 700 pages, much of it redacted.

Scandinavian Dinner Sunday at St. Lukes

St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Buffalo will host their Scandinavian Dinner Sunday.

The Annual Scandinavian Dinner will be presented this Sunday, February 27 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Buffalo. The event features authentic-styled cuisine of the Scandinavian countries-Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

Annual Quilt Show Begins Sunday at JoCo Library

For crafters or those interested in crafts, the Annual Quilt Show begins this weekend with the drop-off of quilts at the Johnson County Library this Friday and Saturday, and people can view them starting Sunday afternoon.

2011 Relay for Life Kick-Off

Kick-off for the 2011 Relay for Life in Sheridan will be held with a meeting set for Thursday, March 3rd from 5:30 to 7 pm at the Sheridan Senior Center. Spokesperson Lynnie Phipps tells us the need is great to put the June 24th Relay together.

Cancer Center Expansion Approved

The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees approved $8.2 million to expand the Welch Cancer Center.

A little over two months ago, the design team of KWN Construction and CTA Architects began the process of developing a design that would allow for the expansion of the Welch Cancer Center.

Internationally Acclaimed Pianist to Perform in Sheridan

Internaitionally acclaimed pianist Joshua Wright will perform in Sheridan next weekend.

The Sheridan College Young Musical Artist in Residence Series, or SCYMARS is bringing internationally acclaimed pianist Joshua Wright to Sheridan for a special performance a week from this Saturday.

Plea Changes in District Court

Two plea changes were part of the schedule Wednesday in District Court.

23-year-old Sheridan resident Kyle Reuter changed his plea to guilty Wednesday in 4th Judicial District Court.
